Lift station pump outs!

In a conventional septic system, sewage is sent from your home to the septic tank and then out into the leach field through the force of gravity. Sometimes, the tank or the leach field is at a higher elevation than the source of the sewage, making gravity ineffective. This requires the use of a lift station to pump the sewage to the next stage of the process.

In addition, we “jet” related flow pipes to prevent untreated waste water from entering our neighborhoods and waterways. All this rain... and your drains are not draining.

To be sure a parking lot drainage system functions properly, it should be cleaned and maintained on a regular basis. Professional, preventive drain and catch basin cleaning is the key to minimizing the risk of property damage and unnecessary expense. When parking lot drain cleaning is performed as a part of regular property maintenance, the amount of time required and the material disposal volume are both greatly reduced, which results in simpler, lower cost service.

Pump Outs Unlimited will maintain your Lift Station!

The best way to avoid problems is to consistently keep an eye on your lift station. Get to

know it and what to expect from it. Once this is done, you can spot troubles before they blow
out of proportion.

The most important thing to do to care for your lift station is to read and record the hour
meters every day, at the same time. A calendar or log book works great for this. Record both the
total hours and daily total by subtracting the previous day’s total from the current day’s hours. If
everything is working correctly, the pumps will have pumped the same number of hours each
day because they alternate. Get to know how many hours to expect because this will indicate
problems down the road if the numbers are off. Hour meters in all of Aqua Engineering systems
turn off when the pump turns off for any reason. Because of this, if there is a difference in the

hours between the pumps, the pump with the least hours is likely to be the problem pump.
