Let Pump Outs Unlimited do your SSES Plan A report and Plan B report.

The first step in any successful SSES is to perform flow monitoring. This flow data can be utilized to either determine if there is sufficient capacity for service expansion or to identify areas with high levels of I/I For an I/I study the flow data can pinpoint the areas with the highest levels of I/I so that more precise field testing can be performed to identify specific locations of storm water intrusion. This approach leads to reduced costs and a more effective remediation plan.

Lift station pump outs!

In a conventional septic system, sewage is sent from your home to the septic tank and then out into the leach field through the force of gravity. Sometimes, the tank or the leach field is at a higher elevation than the source of the sewage, making gravity ineffective. This requires the use of a lift station to pump the sewage to the next stage of the process.

Lift stations

The pumps, electronic controls and electrical works are under constant physical stress, and the corrosive environment requires constant maintenance repair. There is, however, a point where they need to be rebuilt with wholesale equipment replacement. On average that is about every 15 to 25 years. For larger capacity pumps it is recommended to rebuild at least one pump a minimum of every two years. Performance of routine and preventative maintenance can save station's owner from costly repair bills.

The first thing that needs to be done before the actual cleaning begins is to set up the vacuum system by attaching the vacuum pipe to the truck’s intake hose. It is then placed in the storm drainage system. The water from the tanks will be used for jet-washing and flushing the drains all over. At the same time, the water is vacuuming up anything in the drain which helps clear the drain. After cleaning, the drain is labeled that it has been cleaned.

Happy Grease Traps!

South Florida grease traps are devices that are built into your plumbing system that keep grease, fat, oil, wax or other debris from making it's way into the sewer system.  These types of substances can cause blockages in the system, which cause backups and overflows. This is why grease traps are required in commercial establishments such as restaurants.

South Florida grease traps are designed to separate grease from wastewater so that it can be removed before it enters the sewer system.  All restaurants, caterers, school cafeterias and other commercial cooking facilities must, by law, avoid discharging grease into the municipal sewer system.  In order to function properly grease traps must be pumped and cleaned on a regularly scheduled basis.

Parking lot drain trouble?

South Florida’s climate calls for lots of rainfall throughout the year.  In order to clear roadways, parking lots and other common areas from storm water, Storm Drainage Systems are incorporated.
Storm Drainage Systems are composed of various types of structures that serve the purpose of storm water removal.

These structures may include, but are not limited to, Catch Basins, French Drains, Injection Wells, Slab Covered Tranches, Retention Boxes and Soakage Pits.  Each of these structures serves a purpose in a drainage system, and needs to be maintained in order to ensure proper functioning of the system as a whole.  Neglect or improper maintenance will lead to flooding of the property and even to the reduction of the useful life of the drainage system.
