South FL GREASE TRAP SERVICE

We value our customers and offer full pump outs on a frequency that is convenient for the customer while also considering the requirements set by the utilities department and city ordinances.

The frequencies of these pump outs are based on the volume of grease produced at each location. Chicken grease becomes solid very quickly and is substantial in volume. Allowing the fats to accumulate causes the fats and oils to flow into the city's sanitary sewer system. These fats cause overflows, coat city pipes, manholes wet wells and other facilities. In addition, the fats eventually flow into waste water treatment plants and disrupt operations.

Why should you have your lift station pumped out?

Cleaning is required when you start to see grease caking up on walls or floats. Once you see the first signs of grease floating in your lift station  you need to start monitoring your lift station regularly to determine a cleaning schedule.  Many apartment complexes find that a 90 day cleaning schedules keeps them from having problems. Others prefer to wait until a plumber is out fixing burned up pumps.

Servicing your equipment regularly prevents problems!

Lift station Pump out service!

Wet wells are the holding sump for gravity-flow sewer systems. As sewage enters the wet well and the water level rises, pumps are engaged to pump out the sewage to a forced main, or the sewage is lifted to a higher grade to continue the gravity flow to the outlet point. Solid material will accumulate in the bottom of the wet well and incoming sewage lines.

Lift stations are low points in a gravity-flow sewer system where incoming sewage is pumped from a well to a higher grade to continue the gravity flow to the treatment plant. As solid material, such as rags, enter the lift station, buildup will occur on the bottom of the well and in other components within the station. Solid materials can often plug or damage pump impellers, so periodic cleaning is required to remove the solid material from the lift station.

What could go wrong with a lift station?

What could possibly go wrong, and why?
Lift stations need very little maintenance when only "sanitary waste"  goes in to them! But, if on the other hand, there is a grease trap attached to it or if there are folks cooking, cleaning and washing dishes that are attached to it then you will have grease that is being introduced into your lift station right now. Once grease builds up on your floats and on your pumps your lift station will quit working properly and may damage your expensive pumps. A Pumping service is needed for immediate cleaning right now.

Damage to your pump can be caused in a couple of ways. The first way is excessive trash on the floor of your lift station can cause damage to your pump. The second way is excessive grease can keep your float system from working properly and cause your pumps to continue running even after they have drained your pit, burning up the pump motor.

Lift station Emergency Pump Out Services

Sewage lift stations are a necessary component in most wastewater systems. These stations
provide the pumping necessary to raise liquids from lower elevations to higher elevations. Due
to the environmental impact of SSOs, lift station pumping must be reliable and continuous –
including the ability to respond to varying flow demands regardless of day, hour, or availability
of electricity.
