Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Survey (SSES),
The term raw sewage doesn't exactly send visions of sugar plum fairies dancing through our minds, but in fact its maintenance is an intricate part of maintaining public health safety.
The sanitary sewer evaluation survey is intended to locate and correct excessive infiltration and inflow into the sewer lines. This survey is one of several actions required by the County Code to prevent such problems.
Here at Pump Outs Unlimited we pride ourselves not only on keeping in compliance with all state, local and federal regulations, but we are also well versed in additional requirements that may have not been included in the previous cycle.
An early start on your part will help ensure that you will meet the SSES requirements before the deadline extension runs out, so contact us TodaY!!!

Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Survey (SSES)
Sewer System Evaluation Survey (SSES) is the critical first step in Sewer System Evaluation and Management (SSEM) program which includes project management/
coordination of flow monitoring, sewer system evaluation, field survey, system mapping, hydraulic modeling and analysis, best management practices, cleaning and long-term
maintenance management programs. Most local agencies have laws or ordinances that
require all publicly and privately owned and operated sanitary sewer collection and
transmission systems to complete a Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Survey (SSES) by a
stipulated time. In many cases, the SSES is conducted in compliance with guidelines
based on U.S. EPA's Sewer System Infrastructure Analysis and Rehabilitation Handbook

Key elements of lift stations
Key elements of lift stations include a waste-water receiving well, often equipped with a screen or grinding to remove coarse materials; pumps and piping with associated valves; motors; a power supply system; an equipment control and alarm system; and an odor control system and ventilation system. Lift station equipment and systems are often installed in an enclosed structure. They can be constructed on-site (custom-designed) or prefabricated.
In standard septic systems, gravity is used to flow the sewage from the home to the septic tank, and then to the leach field. When the sewage needs to be pumped because the tank or leach field is at higher ground.septic pumps are also used to pump sewage into the city sewer, when the street sewer line is higher than the home sewage line. Septic Lift Stations fill with sewage to a certain level, then the pump turns on and the sewage is pumped on to the next stage.

Miami Storm drain Cleaning
Storm drains are a huge source of water pollution in the
United States. Few people know that washing dirt and
pollutants off driveways, over-fertilizing their lawns, and
dumping debris directly into storm drains helps to pollute
local waterways and ocean areas.
Unlike water that goes to the sanitary sewer system, storm water is not treated or filtered before it is discharged to the ocean. Polluted runoff can have harmful effects on wildlife and the recreational uses of streams, creeks and beaches. only clean rainwater can be discharged to a storm drain. All work, construction, cleaning and other activities conducted outdoors must be carried out in a way that prevents waste-water and contamination such as trash, debris, dirt, construction materials and hazardous materials from entering storm drain systems.
Need your storm drain pumped out?!

Lift stations,Pump Outs Unlimited, storm drains
Lift stations units are commonly built as a factory assembled package system. Key elements of lift stations include a wastewater treatment receiving well, equipped with lift pumps and piping with valves, a junction box, and an equipment control panel with alarm system.
The submersible type lift/pump station can be utilized on low flow, low head type installations. Two types of pumps are available for this application, grinder pumps and solids handling pumps.
The water that goes down your drain to the sewer, water that flows into storm drains is not treated and filtered for pollutants. This contaminated water flows into canals, into streams and lakes, then ends up in the ocean. Everything other than pure rain water is a potential contaminant that degrades water quality.
That is why here at Pump Outs Unlimited we provide service to grease traps, storm drains and lift stations throughout the South Florida region. Don't get stuck in a frantic and take the preventive measures needed to keep your business running smoothly.

Lift Stations are a requirement in some counties, they must be serviced and maintained on a monthly basis. Pump, control, and structural manufactures also require that these systems are maintained in order to comply with guarantee policies. Waste-water lift stations are facilities designed to move waste-water from lower to higher elevation, particularly where the elevation of the source is not sufficient for gravity flow or when the use of gravity conveyance will result in excessive excavation depths and high sewer construction costs. Storm Drains
The storm drain systems are important to service at least once a year, before the rainy season begins. Many storm drainage systems are designed to drain the storm water, untreated, into rivers or streams. Everything other than pure rain water is a potential contaminant that degrades water quality. All storm drains should be pumped out of all debris and that might have collected at the bottom of each catch basin. All the lines should also be jetted for proper drainage effect once the rainy season.
